Community Resources
Communities and schools are strongly linked — one seldom succeeds if the other fails. Schools need families and communities that are involved in the education of students; communities need schools that serve as centers of neighborhood life.
Toward that end, Cincinnati Public Schools has developed Community Learning Centers (CLCs) in all schools. Since launching in 2002, our CLC model has drawn national attention for successfully engaging community partnerships in school buildings. CLCs offer health services, counseling, after-school programs, nutrition classes, parent and family engagement programs, career and college access services, youth development activities, mentoring, arts programming and more.

Project Connect
For children who are experiencing homelessness, the risk of falling behind academically is significantly greater. Project Connect helps clear barriers to education for families who are homeless. From assisting with enrollment and promoting attendance to providing in-school and summer programs, Project Connect provides guidance and support to give a leg up for children and youth who are experiencing homelessness. Technology Tools
Schoology (pronounced "Skoo-luh-jee") Communication Tool Now Available — is an integrated learning-management solution that gives students, parents and teachers a new and easy way to connect and communicate.
Google Workplace for Education — CPS has adopted Google Workplace for Education as a key tool for student learning. Google Workplace for Education is a web-based suite of programs provided by Google for schools to use. All Google Workplace services can be accessed from anywhere with an Internet connection.
